Last Friday, October 3, the school band Halftime proudly represented Colegio San José Barranquilla at the 4th edition of the Comic Festival, held at the Francisco de Paula Santander Educational Institution in the municipality of Galapa.
This important artistic and cultural event brought together several institutions with the aim of promoting youth talent and fostering the exchange of formative experiences through art and music. On this occasion, Halftime made its official debut before the public, delivering three performances in total—each received with great enthusiasm and appreciation by the audience.
Participation in this festival represented a valuable learning opportunity, as it allowed our students to interact, share musical experiences, and strengthen both their artistic and social skills. These experiences not only enrich students’ holistic formation but also reinforce the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
This kind of initiative is made possible thanks to the continued support of the School Well-being Office, which promotes and supports extracurricular activities focused on the personal, cultural, and emotional growth of our students.
We congratulate all members of the Halftime band for their outstanding performance, discipline, and dedication. Their participation is a true source of pride for our entire educational community.
